Version 1.1 of Forex Profit Defender has been released!

We would like to inform you that a new version of Forex Profit Defender is available in the member area for downloading.

You can upgrade to the new version 1.1 of Forex Profit Defender at any time you want. Make sure that you don't have any open trades.

What's new in this new version 1.1?

We have added a Signal System based on the forex indicators Bollinger Bands and Parabolic SAR. The robot can be precisely configured to alert trading signals based on these two forex indicators and to execute them automatically. If you prefer only to receive the signals without executing them you can stop this from the robot settings. Below you can find the new settings added to Forex Profit Defender related to the Signal System.

Bollinger Bands Signal Settings

BB_ShowSignals – When its value is TRUE the robot will show BUY and SELL signals according to Bollinger Bands indicator.
BB_AutoExecuteSignals – When its value is TRUE the robot will automatically execute every signal and open trades according to signal type (BUY or SELL trade will be open).
BB_MinBreakPips – breakthrough over the volatility borders (Bollinger Bands Upper or Lower line) in pips - a trigger value which would initiate a new trade. Check below image for more details!
BB_MaxVolatilityPips – this is the maximum allowed value of the current market volatility. It is the difference in pips between Bollinger Bands Upper line and Lower line. Check below image for more details!

 

Parabolic SAR Signal Settings

PSAR_ShowSignals – When its value is TRUE the robot will show BUY and SELL signals according to Parabolic SAR indicator.
PSAR_AutoExecuteSignals – When its value is TRUE the robot will automatically execute every signal and open trades according to signal type (BUY or SELL trade will be open).
PSAR_MinDots – Minimum Parabolic SAR dots in one direction before reverse as a condition for generating a signal (BUY or SELL). Check below image for more details!
PSAR_MinPips – The minimum difference in pips of the currency price between the first and last dots of Parabolic SAR indicator in one direction. The idea is to check the size of the fall or rise before to generate a signal. Check below image for more details!

The spread in this tools not work normal in broker 5 digit and need special setting for gold. hope you can check the problem and fixed .
This tool must has best TF to run as EA, what TF is best to run this tool as EA ?

Hello Steen, We don't have any accounts yet for Forex Profit Defender. We will publish soon. Since the first version was only for manual trading therefore we have not opened any accounts. But now the robot can trade automatically and we will also show its performance on our website.

Hello Kwan, Different currency pairs or instruments may have different spreads. Even that Forex Profit Defender is universal trading tools you may need to adapt it for some pairs or instruments. There is parameter called MaxSpread. If it is the problem you can increase its value for gold because most of the brokers offer high spreads for gold. If you have any other problems don't hesitate to contact our support. They will help you.

DO YOU NEED TO ADD 0 TO EACH SETTING FOR DEFENDER ON A 5 DIGIT SPREAD AND ALSO 5 TO THE MAX SPREAD.HAD DEFENDER FOR 2 DAYS HAS NOT WORKED YET WITH AUTO TRADE OR WITH TRAILING STOP SO MUST BE THE 5 DIGIT SETTINGS.

Hello Bill, No you don't need to add 0 (zero) in MaxSpread for 5 digits brokers. The robot can automatically detect whether the broker is 4 or 5 digits broker. Have you enabled the settings:

BB_ShowSignals=true
BB_AutoExecuteSignals=true
PSAR_ShowSignals=true
PSAR_AutoExecuteSignals=true

If the above settings are not TRUE then the robot will not open any trade. Therefore please make sure they are enabled. In case that you don't know how to set up the robot please contact our support team by publishing a support ticket and they will help you.

Possibly a better tool for manual trading & harnessing discipline. but the BB & SAR Strategies don't seem to produce great results.
Tested all strategies for a month on a range of pairs with 0.01 lot sizes & found the account be 5% down. But this is a solid trailing stop tool for manual trading as it removes the emotional struggle to add TP & SL.

Hello Madumal, Forex Profit Defender can be used on any currency pair. Since it is designed to be used for manual trading you have to adapt the robot to your trading style. This can be done precisely from the robot settings.
